Record your first acoustic song in Logic Pro
For singers and guitarists who want to record at home. Three guided sessions take you from plugging in to a finished, mixed track — using the tools that come with Logic.
The three sessions
- Set up and get levels right. Audio interface and microphone setup, creating your project, and recording at healthy levels without clipping.
- Record guitar and vocals. Capturing takes, choosing the best ones, comping and simple editing so the performance sits tight.
- Mix and export. Basic EQ, compression and reverb, balancing the parts, and exporting a finished file to share.
You’ll get a short practice plan after each session, and the song you record is yours.
Before you start
- A Mac that runs your version of Logic Pro, with Logic installed
- Your guitar and a song you’d like to record (an original or a cover)
- Headphones
