For Venues
Regular live music for bars, restaurants, hotels and clubs across Australia.
For bars, restaurants, hotels & clubs
Live music your regulars come back for.
GigWave finds, books and coordinates reviewed musicians for your venue — weekly residencies, weekend sessions or the odd big night — so you have one point of contact instead of chasing acts across social media.

Built for the way venues actually run
Bars & pubs
Weekly acoustic or duo nights that build a crowd, plus bands for the nights you want the room full.
Restaurants & hotels
Background sets pitched at the right volume — jazz, soul, acoustic or piano — for dinner service, lobbies and Sunday sessions.
Clubs & function venues
Party bands and DJs for busy weekends, plus a reliable list to offer clients booking private functions in your space.
How it works
- Tell us about your venue. Nights, hours, room size, sound setup, the vibe you want and your budget per night.
- Get a shortlist. We suggest acts that fit, with live videos and their fees, and can arrange a trial night before you commit to a regular slot.
- Approve your roster. Pick the acts and dates. Each booking is confirmed in writing with set times, breaks and tech needs.
- We coordinate. Reminders, changes and feedback after each night go through one contact. If an act has to cancel we’ll look for a suitable replacement where one is available.
What’s included
- Roster planning matched to your nights and crowd
- Reviewed acts with live video you can check first
- Written confirmation for every night: times, breaks, equipment, access
- One contact for changes, reminders and cancellations
- Post-gig feedback so the roster keeps improving
Pricing
Quoted to suit your venue
Regular venue plans are usually a flat monthly service fee for GigWave’s coordination, with each artist’s performance fee agreed separately and shown clearly before you confirm.
One-off nights can be booked like any other event, with the service fee shown on the quote.
We’ll never charge a booking fee on top of a plan for the same work unless it’s agreed up front.
Questions venues ask
Do we pay the artists, or GigWave?
It depends on the plan you choose, and it’s always spelled out before you confirm. During launch, artists are usually paid directly by the venue under the agreed fee, and GigWave invoices its service fee separately.
What happens if an act cancels?
We’ll tell you as soon as we know and look for a suitable replacement from our roster where one is available. Cancellation terms for each booking are in its written confirmation.
Can we try an act before committing to a regular night?
Yes — a single trial night is the usual way to start.
We have noise limits and a small stage. Is that a problem?
Not at all — tell us in the enquiry. We’ll only suggest acts whose setup and volume suit your room, licence and neighbours.
Do we have to book every gig through GigWave?
No. Use us for as much or as little of your programme as suits you.
